Jefferson pitcher Chris Beck didn’t let his team’s 11-5 loss in Game 1 against Eagle’s Landing Christian bother him.

The Jefferson Lady Dragons golf team has a lot to be proud of, finishing fifth in state and having a team member finish as the Individual State Runner-up.

The Jefferson High School Dragon tennis teams geared up for Region 8A play next week by blanking Athens Christian Monday. The men won 5-0 and the ladies won 5-0. Tuesday afternoon, the Jefferson girls swept Prince Avenue Christian at home in their final regular season match, winning 5-0.

Dragon tracksters continue to set season best performances. The Dragons have two more meets and the Jefferson Relays before the state meets.
The next event for the team is at Lexington facing Oglethorpe County and Athens Academy, April 8.
